Pacific Coast Highway – California Part IV

We are officially in SoCal (Southern California) now! The weather is hot, the sun is shining and life is good. We stayed on the PCH the whole way and watched the coastline change from rugged and twisty to calmer waters with lots of surfers and golden sunsets. We had fun cruising around Huntington and Newport. One of our favourite activities was riding around on electric fat bikes that we rented from Fatbike HB. The bikes even had a throttle which proved a lot of fun.

Stayed in Laguna, I love Laguna. The cool art galleries, great food and pristine beaches. I was happy to be there again. I somehow thought Oceanside was going to be gritty and dirty, but it was gorgeous! Had my first fish sandwich in Oceanside while watching the local surfers come and go. Capped off our trip with a couple nights in La Jolla! We did a sea kayak tour in La Jolla. I loved it, but Cory got seasick halfway through. We stayed on land after that.
