Calgary Public Library Foundation Lit Gala

What a fabulous night of light and literature, photographing the Lit Gala at the Calgary Public Library! It was amazing to see the library transformed with light.

There were performances all night on all the different levels of the Calgary public library that night. As guests arrived the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and Calgary Opera played. Then guests were treated to a choir and dancers rocking down the stairs. There was a tap dancer and beat boxer, the ILLFX dancers did a performance and Alex Hughes shone bright as she sang on the Mom’s stairway. There was food everywhere courtesy of Hotel Arts, a tequila bar, a scotch bar and Drum N DJ party and then DJ Molli to keep everyone moving on the dance floor. So many treasures in the silent auction and Date with a Book, the whole night was fantastic!
