Miss A’s Bat Mitzvah

I have known this family since 2012 when they welcomed their second baby. What a privilege for me to photograph their daughter’s Bat Mitzvah last weekend at the ATCO Commons building. The venue was truly remarkable! I had never been before and was surprised at how beautiful it was inside and how it facilitated a seamless flow for the party.. The Blue Flame Kitchen did an exceptional catering job and Michelle Jacobson pulled everything together and made the event a huge success.

Everything looked so fabulous thanks to the hard work of some great vendors. Holly from Paper + Petals did all the signs, programs, vinyl and books. Catherina from Paper + Petals took care of the gorgeous florals and Little Chic did all the balloon work. Stef Forward Events created the very cool selfie booths, the candy shelves and the amazing large book entrance for the book loving Miss A!

The party was an absolute blast! After the guests arrived and socialized while enjoying appetizers and custom cocktails, the Hora kicked off. Everyone was grinning and up on their feet. Following dinner and speeches from the parents, a slideshow of the guest of honour was presented, and then the party began with lots of dancing and shenanigans on the dance floor. The Candy station was a massive hit with the kids, and everyone had a great time in the 360 photo booth. Fantastic night!
