It seems like just yesterday that I lost my Dad and now we’ve lost his wife (my Stepmom) Naida.\u00a0\u00a0 I can’t believe she’s gone.\u00a0 She was young and quirky and I wasn’t ready to lose her.\u00a0 She was a private person but very loyal to those she loved.\u00a0 Naida was always so encouraging to me.\u00a0 She often told me what a great job she thought I was doing as a Mom and a wife.\u00a0 She was very supportive of my career as a photographer.\u00a0 She passed out my business card at every opportunity and asked me for more when she ran out.\u00a0 She told me all the time that she was proud of me and that meant so much to me.\u00a0 She loved my kids too.\u00a0 She had no children of her own, but she took us on as her family.\u00a0 My kids were her grandchildren and her love for them was evident.\u00a0 We’re all going to miss her.<\/p>\n
