I know I have been a bad blogger this month. 🙁 In my defense, I hosted 2 Christmas celebrations at our house, decked it all out and spent some time with friends. Everyone is gone, the decorations are packed and I’m feeling a little back to normal!
I gave my blog a face-lift for the new year. For those of you who follow it, I hope you enjoy the new look, bigger pictures and easier navigation!
I love this time of year when the paper is full of the top ten lists, the video countdowns on the music channels and the radio plays their favorites of the year. When I was a teenager I would faithfully listen to Kacey Kacem every weekend and my favorite was the New Year’s addition when he would do the top 100 of the year. So in my own little celebration I’m going to post some of my favorite images from this past year. I won’t rank them because I don’t think I could. I had so much trouble narrowing it down to what I did. I couldn’t include everyone I worked with this year, but take a browse through the archives of this blog to see more.
Thank you to all the people, pets and kids I had the pleasure and honour to work with this year. I met so many great people this year and had a blast working with you all. I love this job!! Happy New Year everyone!!!
This is Maria from March. She was fun and fabulous!
Candida & Patrick were smokin hot at this engagement shoot and they didn’t disappoint on their wedding day either!
This is my husband Cory. He’s not too fond of me taking pictures of him, but I convinced him to do a shoot with his guitars and I loved it – he also survived!
I am making a canvas print of this one for my office.
This is baby Lincoln. Drool is always welcome with me! Too cute.
Leah-anne & Justin were another couple that I had so much fun working with and really enjoyed being around them.
I love the expression on this little guy’s face standing up at the wedding. Typical guy. Not sure how he got stuck holding the flowers.
I went up to Edmonton for Matt and Rhonda’s big day in July. It was truly perfect and once again an amazing couple. I have the best clients!
This picture was taken at Katelyn and Doug’s wedding. Katelyn is an amazing pianist and so I wanted to somehow incorporate a piano into a shot for her.
I love this picture of Lynda. She looks stunning.
Her groom wasn’t bad either.
A perfect summer day out at Nakoda Lodge with Dawn & James.
Leah-anne & Justin exuded love and excitement. I love this candid picture of them at the guest book table. Could they be any sweeter.
Karen doesn’t like sand, so this picture was a big deal. I think it was worth it to get a little sand in the toes. Thanks Karen!
My amazing, beautiful, smart & delightful niece and nephew!
I actually took a little break and we went on vacation to Tofino for a week.
My favorite image of my boys from our vacation.
I enjoyed this couple. We did their pictures a few weeks before their actual wedding. We took a walk down Steven Avenue and just had fun.
Shaine & Dale picked Lake Louise for their wedding and it was outstanding.
I have had the pleasure of doing a few sessions with Brayden and this boy never disappoints!
The Barons were a great family full of smiles.
The Rohricks loving this new addition to their clan.
Jen was a fantastic bride to work with. She couldn’t not smile!
Sweet little Henry in the fall.
Smokin hot Candida and Patrick again for their fall wedding.
The trees reflected in the water looked so amazing.
John’s parents got a gift certificate as a bridal shower gift to come and do a session with me. John was such a good baby and so easy to photograph.
It was cold for Jay and Breanna’s wedding, but she bundled up in this cape and looked smashing.
Jack and Jada are my dear friend’s kids and of course always fun to take pictures of.
I like the moodiness of this picture of Jada.
Marti & Greg in Red Deer was my last wedding for 2008. So easy going and they were fun from start to finish.
There is so much more that I would love to post, but I fear this post has dragged on long enough. Happy New Year to all. I’m looking forward to an exciting 2009!
