What a cool place for kids! Kulinary Kids is located on MacLeod Trail in the Avenida shopping area. They teach all kinds of cool cooking classes for kids. I was looking for something for my boys to do for a few days over spring break and I contacted them to check their availability. I did some pictures for them years ago when they first opened up. Kim remembered me and asked me to come in and shoot some new pictures for their brochures. I had so much fun and so did my boys! At first my kids were worried that the class would be full of girls – in fact there were more boys in the class than girls. They loved making their own dishes and sharing them with Cory and I when they got home. Apparently, Luke made the best and fluffiest pancakes in the whole class. My favorite part was that I didn’t have to pack them a lunch! They had a great experience there and for the time I was there, I was so impressed with the teachers, the cool chef hats they got to wear, all the latest and greatest kitchen gear they used, the organization of everything, the fact that they were taught to clean up after themselves and the variety of menu each day. If you’ve got kids this is a super cool experience and something fun for them to do.
These onion glasses are awesome!
