Japan Trip – Busan, South Korea

Our one port outside of Japan was Busan in South Korea. We spent a good chunk of time at the Gamcheon Cultural Village. The village was full of colour and art. It used to be a slum, but they revitalized it in 2009 by painting the houses, adding gift shops, cafes and street art. After wandering through the village for hours, we took the Songo cable car over the water to the park on the other side. We hit the Jagalchi fish market just before closing. The smell hit us first and then the intriguing and strange seafood. A little night shopping at the BIFF shopping arcade and that wrapped our day in Busan.
