The second half of our trip was on the Norwegian Pearl. It was a 10 day cruise down the Adriatic sea and into Greece. It was great waking up new somewhere every day and not having to do any work to get there. Loads of food, lovely staff and we weren’t slogging our luggage everywhere.

Our first port was Ravenna, Italy. We did a shore excursion that took us to the mosaic sites that they are famous for in Ravenna. We also had time to wander the quaint streets, found a fabulous bakery and saw the fish swimming in the basement of one of the churches.

Our second port was Koper, Slovenia. I arranged an e-bike rental from a local company who met us at the pier. They outfitted us with all the gear we needed and a map. We had a blast making our way to Piran with stops for gelato, pictures, lunch and even a little shopping.
